At the 2009 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, Delta® unveiled a new kitchen collection with the latest features for ease of maintenance and durability while offering great styling.  The Collins™ kitchen faucet offers the exclusive DIAMOND™ Seal and Touch-Clean® technologies that make Delta faucets a smarter way to work with water. Its subtle curves give it a look that will fit a variety of kitchen décors from traditional to contemporary.

High-Arched Spout
The versatile Collins kitchen faucet is a single-handle, deck-mount faucet that can be used in a single-hole installation or with a matching decorative escutcheon for three and four-hole sinks. For added convenience, the Collins model offers a 9” arched spout for easy filling of pots and pans.  A finished side spray with Touch-Clean Technology and a finished handle button cover complete the kitchen faucet’s features.

DIAMOND™ Seal Technology
Another product feature is the exclusive DIAMOND Seal Technology by Delta Faucet Company.  A breakthrough innovation in water delivery, it eliminates contact with potential metal contaminants.  DIAMOND Seal Technology also reduces the number of leak points, simplifies installation, and lasts up to 5 million uses – up to 10 times longer than the industry standard.**  

The DIAMOND™ valve is an integrated ceramic valve cartridge featuring one ceramic disc and one diamond-embedded disc.  The diamond-embedded disc constantly polishes the ceramic disc, preventing build-up of calcium and mineral deposits and ensuring smooth, consistent operation of the handle over the life of the faucet.

Seamless, one-piece InnoFlex® waterways ensure that once inside the faucet, water is not in contact with potential metal contaminants.

DIAMOND Seal Technology is less hassle to install. All the parts needed for installation are in the box. The one-piece Innoflex waterways’ integrated supply lines can be connected directly to hot and cold shut-off valves. No intermediate riser connections are needed.

Touch-Clean® Technology  
In another innovation, the Collins kitchen faucet incorporates a Touch-Clean finished spray face on the accompanying vegetable sprayer.  Its soft, rubber nubbins allows the homeowner to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face with the touch of a finger.

The Collins collection, which will replace Signature® deck models, will be available with standard 2.2 gallons-per minute (gpm) or water-efficient 1.5 gpm flow rates in Chrome, Brilliance® Stainless and White finishes.
